How do I determine if my Balckberry is unlocked?
1.On your Blackberry, go to Options>>Advanced Options>Sim Card
2.At that screen, type MEPD on your keyboard.A new menu will pop up.
3.look for network in the list.
4.If your device is unlocked , it should ay Disabled or Inactive. If it says Active, it’s still locked to that carrier.

Sim Card menu ( at setting, option, advanced option, sim card ) is a standard menu at Blackberry OS.
Please do hard reset by open your battery, wait for 5 minute then plug it again and hopefully you can see your sim card menu.
